Asia Model Festival "Face of the Philippines" to be held at Makati Ayala Circuit Mall

The '2024 Asia Model Festival Face of Asia' national event 'Face of the Philippines' will be held at Ayala Circuit Mall in Makati City, Philippines on August 25.

This 'Face of the Philippines' is co-hosted and organized by the Korea Culture and Tourism Federation (Chairman Jang Han-sik) and WOW ENTERTAINMENT, and is sponsored by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Gangwon-do, Seoul Tourism Foundation, High1 Resort, K-LIFE, and participated by PNB Group (Chairman Jang Mi-kyung).

Part 1 of the event will feature a dance and song competition between K-pop and K-pop dance cover teams, which are all the rage in the Philippines, and Part 2 will feature a passionate competition between new faces of male and female models representing the Philippines.

The final male and female winners selected in this competition will learn various stage manners, walking, and techniques through a model training camp with models from 25 Asian countries at High1 Resort in Gangwon-do from October 20 to October 30, 2024, and will attend the Asia Model Festival Competition from October 31 to November 2 to showcase their skills.

Jang Han-sik, Chairman of the Hallyu Culture and Tourism Federation, which hosts the 'Face of the Philippines' event, expressed his ambition to "nurture the diverse talents and potential of Philippine models and develop them into excellent models who can stand out on the world stage."

‘FACE of ASIA’ is the largest model selection competition in Asia, organized by the Asia Model Festival Organizing Committee (AMFOC, Chairman Yang Eui-sik) and partners from various countries related to Asian models and fashion. It is a core international exchange event among the ‘Asia Model Festival’ consisting of ‘Asia Model Awards’, ‘Asia Open Collection’, and ‘FACE of Asia’. The best models in Asia will be selected from 25 Asian countries through preliminary rounds at High1 Resort in Gangwon-do from October 31 to November 2, 2024.

Top stars Ken Chan, Kim Rodriguez, and Teejay Marquez will participate as invited Filipino celebrities at the event, and judges include Yang Eui-sik, Chairman of the Asia Model Festival, Lee Geun-hee, CEO of K-NATURAL, and Kimberly Cruz, CEO of Dohtonbori.
